  • How much does excavation cost?

The cost of an excavation project will depend on several factors such as the size of the area that needs to be excavated, the depth of the excavation, permit requirements, the type of equipment needed, and property access.

  • Do you do commercial excavation work?Do you do commercial excavation work?

Yes, our excavation team can perform commercial excavation work. We have extensive experience doing all kinds of commercial work such as foundation digging, tree removal, drainage preparation work, and cleaning up storm damage.

  • Will rain and other types of weather impact excavation?

The weather can have an impact on the excavation in terms of how long it takes to complete. For example, excavation services cannot be performed during or immediately after heavy rains as the rain saturates the soil. This turns the ground into thick mud that can get stuck in machines and make it difficult to dig. So, this can lead to a few days of delay. If the weather is extremely cold or hot, we may not be able to perform an excavation until the temperatures become more comfortable and conducive to excavation services. Additionally, strong winds that can cause falling tree branches and blow around, dirt, dust, and aggregates prevent excavation services.

  • Do you need a permit for demolitions?

Yes, you often do need a permit to demolish a primary structure from a property. It is always best to reach out to your local municipal demolition permit office to learn more about the laws and regulations of your area.

  • Why do people demolish structures instead of remodeling them?

Demolishing makes sense instead of remodeling a structure when the structure has significant structural damage, it is very old, or when demolition is quicker than renovation. It also allows you to have more flexibility in the design of a new building than the existing building.

  • Can I demolish a structure myself?

Demolition is not a DIY project that you can do yourself. You need to hire a professional demolition service who has the proper licensure and experience to safely demolish a structure. Demolition presents numerous challenges that need to be carefully addressed. Only a professional demolition contractor can do this.

  • Can you clear a lot for our building project?

Yes, we can clear the land of trees, rock, brush, and debris to make it suitable for your construction project. Our contractors can also excavate to create the foundation of your residential or commercial structure.
